| State agencies, charities and private companies are on the way to the Gulf Coast to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Adjutant General Bud Wyatt says he's already been in contact with officials in Louisiana and is making plans to send National Guard resources, if necessary. The State's Emergency Management Office is also expecting to get calls for help, as is the State Agriculture Department, which can help with animal or plant issues stemming from the storm. |
