During this time Legacy Bank was listed as one of the banks in Oklahoma of sufficient strength to be able to bid on failed financial institutions. The door opened for the vision of solid and stable growth to be continued as offices were obtained in Blanchard, Elk City, Hammon, and Duncan through purchases from the F.D.I.C. The success of these operations have allowed further expansion into Newcastle, Weatherford, Marlow, and Oklahoma City. Legacy Bank has since grown to be one of the larger banks in Oklahoma.
