| The Community Resource Development Foundation created the Support Center in 1981, as a vehicle for building the capacity of individuals to manage and lead nonprofit organizations more effectively. A resource center was developed in Oklahoma City to provide a place from which information and referral, training, consulting and project management services could be provided for staff, volunteers and board members of all types of nonprofits. In an effort to better serve the state, an office was opened in Tulsa in 1986. |
