The Conservation Commission’s Conservation Education Program has been in existence since 1975. The main purpose of the Education Program is to educate Oklahomans of all ages about natural resources and the environment with an emphasis on soil and water. The Commission cooperates with other state agencies in co-sponsoring three international environmental education programs in the state: Project WET, Project WILD and Project Learning Tree. These programs are supplemental to educators’ existing curricula.
