| The Linen Sisters actually started out with three friends spending the weekend stitching. We had previously gone to other shop-sponsored retreats and enjoyed ourselves, and knew we needed something like that in our area of Oklahoma City. Initially, we did not have inventory to sell, so we invited other shops to sell items to us on a consignment basis; however, the enthusiasm wasn't there. Therefore, we knew we had to do something else, which involved registering our name and buying inventory. Thus, in 1997, The Linen Sisters was established. |
