The Oklahoma Humanities Council (OHC) is an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of individuals and communities by fostering access to and education in the humanities. We believe that study of the humanities helps people to clarify issues, acquire new perspectives, and become informed citizens. We pursue this mission through our own statewide programs and through grant-making to support scholarship and other nonprofit organizations promoting the humanities.
