The name “Evangelical Covenant” describes the essential focus of the denomination. The word Evangelical means to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with an emphasis on God’s grace and salvation that comes only through putting our faith in Jesus. The word Covenant means to be in a personal relationship with God and each other.
